Technology and Education can eliminate hunger.

Blacque Acres is committed to providing underrepresented communities with affordable and healthy, garden fresh vegetables all year round. Grown in your neighborhood, by your neighbors.

The technology used in our farms allows us to change the face and stigma of agriculture. We no longer have the dirty, back braking work associated with farming land. Our closed hydroponic system uses 5 gallons of water a day and there is absolutely no dirt involved in the growth process. Our farm is a closed environment that we control, so our growth cycle averages about 8 weeks from seed to harvest. The app used to monitor and control the growth cycle takes a lot of the guess work out of the process and eliminates a lot of the errors associated with normal agricultural farming.

The technology of our farm is only the beginning. We can now use this advanced system to educate our community. Show them how healthy food options have a direct correlation to increased health, physically and mentally. Where our communities are plagued with lead and other contaminants in the soil, we circumvent that totally.
