What a Great Success!!!

On September 20, 2023, we participated in the second annual Mohawk Valley Gives donation drive. It was a huge success and it put us on a path forward. This was our first time participating in such an event and we learned a few things. We learned that the Mohawk Valley is passionate about giving. This was shown through the total campaign donation amounts surpassing $2.4 million. We learned that we have a worthy cause, we raised $7,287 from 103 donors. We also learned that we have to get the word out about what we plan to do in this community.

Since the fundraiser, people have asked what are we about and how can they help our cause. We have had some fruitful conversations with the philanthropic community and we look forward to increasing our fundraising efforts to get this project up and running. Our community is growing and gaining strength, the work that we do here will change lives and we’ll do it together.
